Our Biomedical Data Science (BDS) Lab contains a multidisciplinary team with expertise in clinical, biomedical data science, chemistry, cybersecurity, human factors, artificial intelligence, and machine/deep learning modeling, providing our team with the experience and expertise to tackle some of the most pressing challenges in modern healthcare.

Research

Dr. Hembroff leads scientific research projects in collaboration with the medical institutions and public health software development for the healthcare adoption. The scope of his work includes deep learning techniques, computer vision, natural language processing, generative AI, medical image analysis, disease surveillance, and healthcare interoperability and cyberseruity.
